roadrunner #1 Posted July 21, 2013 I see auctions all the time where someone will have the 2 highest bids and then near the end krishnasoft will just make the next highest bid just to make someone pay more for it. I guess if you know the ID and the person is just gonna flip it maybe you bump it up. But to be doing that to a whole bunch of different people seems bush. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Ffeedback.ebay.com%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewFeedback2%26userid%3Dkrishnasoft%26ftab%3DAllFeedback http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FDONKEY-KONG-NINTENDO-COMMODORE-VIC-20-COMPUTERS-1983-ATARI-Instructions-%2F281135189756 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FVINTAGE-ATARI-2600-CONSOLE-AND-CORDS-%2F161065566276 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FUntested-Atari-7800-Console-Games-Accessories-%2F350829053638 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FVintage-Atari-800xl-Atari-810-games-cables-guide-bundle-%2F221250776427 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FMario-Bros-Atari-7800-Scarce-HTF-R3-%2F321163615824 http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FAtari-games-MARIO-BROS-ASTEROIDS-SPACE-INVADERS-SMURFS-DONKEY-KONG-PLUS-MORE-%2F300928389492

video game addict #4 Posted July 22, 2013 Roadrunner you must have lots of freetime with the investigative skills you show off in this forum! So I Guess, Another vote for Sniping!! It could be just a coincidence that it appears that way, maybe he's tracking these auctions in his bidding history. As fast as auctions disapear in the search engines, it could be reasonable that by bidding, they show longer as previous bidding history? ...I know not likely... I do think I'd take this over the bidders that bid 10-12 times with the minimum incrementals, just to 'feel out' the other bidder, only to walk away as soon as a maxium bid is revealed. Or those that place bids and overtake the lead only to retract their own high bid because of 'error'!
+boxpressed #5 Posted July 22, 2013 I might be missing something, but it just looks like he is placing an opening or low bid on a lot of items and coming in second. Nothing wrong with that. The ones I looked at weren't even sniped.

I was watching other items that someone made 2 bids to see if he would bump it up but didn't. But he does have 96 retractions in the last 6 months though. I just wanted to get peoples thoughts on it. If i'm wrong about him i apologize.
