Thorsten Günther Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 The ST BASIC by Atari was quickly abandoned by programmers due to it being buggy and the GEM interface ridiculously complicated (using four(!) windows). Most BASIC games for the Atari ST were written in GFA BASIC, see a list here. Another ST BASIC that is said to be rather good is HiSoft BASIC, but as it came rather late in the ST's life cycle (or so it seems, here in Germany it became available as late as 2003(!)), it didn't seem to gain much attention outside the UK. And unfortunately I can not do the dump is to transfer data from PC to ATARI ST, last winter I had tried with a special program that runs under pure MS-DOS using a PC, but when I go to put the floppy Atari ST, does not work! And so at this point I feel cheated!
