Videogamecollector123 #1 Posted July 28, 2013 So I've got a couple NES games that are simply missing all of their screws. Anyone know a source for the security screws?
Dripfree #2 Posted July 28, 2013 Hmmm id just use some philips screws I hate those security screws. I suppose you like to keep things original though and get that too.

Precisely, though I've seen some NES games with regular screws in them too. If I can't find a source for the security screws, then I guess normal ones will be fine. sqoon #4 Posted July 29, 2013 Dots of crazy glue at various spacing along the outer seam is my fix of choice whenever I lose a screw or come across a NES cartridge missing one. Just wipe off the excess before it dries on the outer edge and if you ever need to open the game again an exacto knife does the trick.

I guess if you were very precise this may work but you would have to be extremely precise to not effect look of your cart. Crazy glue can get messy easy, and I'd probably end up with a big white thumb print on my cart. Seems a little intrusive for my likes. Screws like that can be found in almost any broken electronics. Just steal screws from an old Walkman or something.
sqoon #6 Posted July 29, 2013 Surprisingly, crazy/super glue works well with little mess. The key is to wipe away excess before it dries, and just keep the fingers away.
