Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm not bummed at all about the lack of Tetris on the Intellivision. Never been a big fan of the game and don't know that the world needs another version ... besides, with 4-Tris already out there, not sure that it would have been a big improvement (not that I have 4-Tris ...).

 

I'd rather see the limited resources going towards more intricate and/or original games.

Yeah, it would have been a big improvement....with 2 player mode, authentic game play and music.

 

4-tris is around......not sure it will be available ever again though.

I agree, 4-Tris is a nice implementation of Tetris, but a bit "bare-bones" (I own a copy). A more elaborate version would work well on the Intellivision.

 

I'm planning a falling puzzle game for the Aquarius, too.

Would have been nice to see on the INTV, but no great loss. I LIKE the game, but it's not like you can't pick up a great copy of the game for another system, official and all. I'd rather that homebrewers make original games or port games over that were never seen on another console, or just one.

I agree, tetris would have been nice, but it would just be a variant of an existing game. I personally like seeing new games.

No, it would not have been a variant of an existing game.

 

It would have been full on a different game, with 2 player mode, and authentic Tetris game play, and music.

 

But, a moot point, as it didn't happen.
