that's cool, wish they'd put it out for the XBLA but nothing beats the real arcade setup especially if you played it alot in the arcades back when it came out. i've been wanting to get the house of the dead but don't really have the space atm.

Congrats! I just played the arcade cabinet of rage a few weeks ago at the cal extreme. The jag cd versions isn't bad either except that some of the characters are a bit smaller and the controls are rough without a pro controller.

I paid $300 because the side art is pretty good...Primal Rage cabinets are notorious for fading.

 

If you didn't mind that and were patient you could probably find one for $200-$250.

Nice score! Primal Rage is one of my favorite fighters from the '90s. Lots of memories playing on those dedicated cabs.

I managed to grab a Primal Rage board set for £0 many moons back, alas it has a fault somewhere and I have never managed to track it down. All seems to work OK except the character sprites are corrupted.. have tested all the ROMs and they are fine.. one day I'll fix it.

S'funny. I am spending a week in my old home town trying to clear things up. I have a Primal Rage motherboard that I can't GIVE away here. But it's too bulky to send to my new town. It is most likely going to go in the bin

No, you wouldn't. I've having this trouble on ebay with my items I'm trying to sell. I put 'local pick up only' because its too much hassle for the few days Im here to ship things off. Then some people insist and I accomodate them, and then when they realise how much the freight is, they say don't worry about it. My old home town is Darwin, N.T, Australia. Google it. Primal Rage mother board is heavy as a mofo!

 

I probably could have got someone to buy this on ebay but I only remembered I had it the other day. These boards go for less than $100 on ebay. To get it to the US for instance would cost hundreds. Not worth it. I have advertised it as a freebie on the Aussie Arcade forum, no bites there either. There used to be an amusement machine vendor here. I might try and find out if hes still around and give it to him. Otherwise, I hate to do it, but landfill it is
