tpugmire
In the mid 80's, I used to have a handheld/tabletop game that was similar to Space Invaders. The casing was a greyish blue if I remember correctly. It had at least 3 chrome buttons: left arrow, right arrow, and fire. The LED's that made up the screen were red, and they shone through a black background with the shapes of the different items in the game. Does this sound even remotely familiar to anyone? jaybird3rd
It doesn't ring a bell with me, I'm afraid. You might consider exploring the Handheld Museum website; they have a pretty extensive list of handheld games, with lots of pictures. tpugmire
I've been browsing that site for a few days now, but haven't come up with anything yet. It's neither of those two suggested.

ianoid
sounds like Epoch Galaxy II. I think Galaxy II is multicolor VFD- or blue. And it's one of the better TTs as far as game play, outside of Mattel and Nintendo. Edited August 8, 2013 by ianoid
tpugmire
One of these? This is the one! I wonder what ever became of the one I used to have? Thanks a bunch.
number six
Man me and my Galaxian II were inseperable when I was a kid. It was the Gameboy of 1982. The fact that you could play 2 players with the 2nd player controlling the invaders was really sweet. I still have mine but I'm pretty sure it died a long time ago.
