Welcome to AtariAge. You might want to try your local Thrift Stores, garage sales and Flea Markets for cheap carts. AA also has an asesome store if you're looking for unusual Atari items.

You're Abe Froman? The Sausage King of Chicago...

Oh like you didn't expect that, come on, PLEASE!

For lots of games, I'd check flea markets, thrift store and yard sales like everyone else. Or head out to PhillyClassic this March, there will be LOTS of games there (and if you go late on Sunday, you will get ALL kinds of deals on lots of commons).

Beyond that you may have to rely on the Marketplace here at AA!

Good luck!

Bueller? Bueller?

Sorry, couldn't resist. The AA website also has a list of traders and their websites. Some of those people may be willing to accept cash if you have nothing to trade.

I hate to think about the racks and racks of Asteroids, Missile Command, PacMan, Combat carts I have seen at thift stores in years past .. I knew they would never sell the quantities that they had .. and I kinda wish I had bought them in bulk and saved them from the trash heep. But this was four years ago ...

YEP - That's me! Sausage KING of Chicago !!!

'bout time someone figured it out. Only ONE guy on IRC has figured it out in the last year or so.

thanks for all the info - I'll check the marketplace.

Also, I built a 'cocktail' type arcade cabinet for my 2600 just to play WARLORDS - includes 4 paddles mounted in the top. I'll post a pic soon when I figure out how. I usually build MAME cabinets - I've built 12 or so so far, but WARLORDS demanded a cocktail cabinet, so I built one. It's really cool. More to come.

cheers

I wanted carts and placed an ad in the local free ads paper, I don't know if you have something similar in the US? but it worked for me, I ended up with more carts than I needed and it didn't cost me a lot of cash.

The Restaurant is Chez Luis. "4000 restuarants in the downtown area, I pick the one my Father goes to."

Come on, Abe! I expect you to know this stuff!

Oh and to stay on topic, I regularly drop ads in the news paper, just in case. Plus, I have my reverse yard sale idea in full effect!

damn - I'm gonna have to go watch it AGAIN for like the 200th time.

here's a few more good ones......

"If I miss one more day, I'll have to barf up a lung"

"I could be the walrus, but I'd still have to bum rides from people"

"never had one lesson"

"pardon my french, but if you stuck a lump of coal up his ass, in two weeks you'd have a diamond!!

"we'll drive home backwards"

cheers!
