fdurso224 #1 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) Hi guys, NGDEVTEAM announced today that the remaining stock of Fast Striker is available for the Neo Geo AES! If you didn't have a chance to pre-order before, now's your opportunity!! Here's more from my e-mail that I received from them. "Dear customers, the remaining stock of Fast Striker AES is now available. New pictures of the Japanese and English inserts can be found in the shop: http://www.ngdevdire...php?cPath=21_31 The Japanese insert may receive a few changes. We are currently translating the story to Japanese and may add it to the back side. Production will start in September." Best regards, NG : DEV . TEAM Anthony... +Gemintronic #2 Posted August 12, 2013 The pricing on Neo Geo carts still manages to send me into a panic. I don't doubt it's worth it, though Hopefully some more Dreamcast titles will appear too.
CGQuarterly #3 Posted August 12, 2013 I know they're expensive, but they're made in limited quantities so you can pretty much rest assured that you can always get the full purchase price back for it by selling it on the secondary market. I was very tempted to buy MVS GunLord, but I had already bought the Dreamcast version so there was really no point.

Austin #5 Posted August 12, 2013 Hardly worth the money for the AES release, but jibbajabba is right, you are pretty much guaranteed to get your money back for it (and some) down the line.

I understand that for the first seller creating a limited run helps their bottom line. I just hate that gaming is now over run with speculators. It killed the automotive hobby for many years and is draining the real collectors out of this one as well. Games are now mostly in the hands of people who put them in vaults like gold and silver and could care less about the heritage of them.

Games are now mostly in the hands of people who put them in vaults like gold and silver and could care less about the heritage of them. That's very true. I was just making the point that while the cost may be high, you could buy a copy, play it until you tire of it, and then pass it along so that your cost of ownership was zero. You can say the same thing about most retro games as well, as long as you don't overpay.
