(GB) Ms. Pac-Man / Super Pac-Man (GBC) Penguin Wars (GB) Q*bert (GB) QIX (GB) Space Invaders (GB) Super Breakout / Battlezone (GB) Any ideas on ones that I might be missing? Markimus of K. #2 Posted February 26, 2003 I picked up Yar's Revenge for the GBC thinking it was a dream come true. Unfortunatley it's virtually unplayable because of the screen, you can't see a danm thing. Maybe I'll wait for the GBA SP and try it on that. Qix is very good though. Am curious how are Space Invaders, Defender/ Joust & Missile Command on the GBC?
chrisbid #3 Posted February 26, 2003 space invaders was very cool, but not for the GB version, if you played it in a Super Game Boy on an SNES, you got a 100% perfect arcade port that was a natvie SNES game (no SGB border). It even had virtual color overlays. im still looking to find another copy for myself

Ze_ro #5 Posted February 27, 2003 I picked up Yar's Revenge for the GBC thinking it was a dream come true. Unfortunatley it's virtually unplayable because of the screen I've played it on a GBA, and had no real problems... although the left/right scrolling gets annoying. Don't try playing it on a B&W GB though... like most GBC games, it ends up using bad shades for things. I don't know how many people remember the old C64 game Shamus, but I have a GBC copy of this game too. I'm not sure if it was really popular enough to consider it "classic" though. By the way, this thread is kind of a copy of this thread over in the Modern Gaming forum... --Zero
