That and I don't think they will honor the $50 rebate. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk Awesome! Looks like it's in great shape. I wouldn't be too worried about the PSU. Bummer that they gave an expiration on the rebate - maybe TI would have still honored it today otherwise! ? 1
Mehridian Sanders
Interior pics this looks really clean ... compared to my first the key switches don't hold onto the keyboard very well. Might swap the key board if interchangeable. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Opry99er
Our very own Mike Lunsford has a like-new nano-PEB for sale for $50. It's on the Facebook TI-99ers page. He is selling it to raise the cash to go TIPI. anyone need a nano?

You can see that the GROM0 socket has no chips but wires and resistors instead. The GROM1 socket contains the GROM0 chip. The GROM1 chip is missing. The two (of 3 necessary) GROM chips are from late 1979 and early 1980, so they were put in probably after an update was released. I doubt it can run with a GROM0 (SYSTEM) and GROM2 (TI-BASIC PART2, Equation Calculator) like that. My assumption is that the shell (case) is older than the mainboard, and the youngest parts are the GROM and ROM chips (to update to the latest software). The shell also has a cut out part on the back for an additional port (like the Dimension 4 had for the Video).
+Ksarul
Yeah, except for the top metal piece, the shell is definitely for a Dimension 4.

I was under the impression the original CX-10 had the Atari logo in the upper-right, but that appears to be a much later repro from a Flashback. +save2600
This is what CX-10's look like. Besides the hex plate topper, if you look closely at the perimeter of the stick boot, it's held in by tabs. Later model CX-40's have the entire base of their boots held in place by a retaining ring, giving a more "finished" look.

It ironically came to my possession when I bought a 2600 4 switch. I was at first Amazed at how well preserved the controller was vs. the condition of the console. Then I realized she kept the original Atari controller for her flashback and sent me the new controller. Hoodwinked.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

ArcadeShopper is a great resource and I have purchased from there in the past (and will continue to purchase from there), but if you're looking to save some coin on the joystick adapter, you're better off buying from TexElec directly (same product Greg sells at ArcadeShopper) HERE to save $10. Also, as documented at TexElec HERE, Paez3D makes a nifty case/shell for that joystick adapter which matches the computer really well. Paez3D sells that case on eBay HERE. It's currently "sold out" on eBay but you can shoot him an email at sales@paez3d.com and he will make one for you and throw up an eBay listing.

Well, GROM0 should run fine on its own... maybe Equation Calculator can too. Never tried that!

The real/easy dead giveaway is that CX-10 don’t have “top” printed on the ring. @save2600 is incorrect though about the hex discs. They are a myth and don’t exist...lol. Seriously though, are those repros or originals? I don’t think I’ve ever seen an original with the hex disc still attached. Mehridian Sanders
@Mitkraft when I had my Atari 2600 and 7800 the Atari logo was not on the end of the joystick. Are least to my aged memory.
