Yeah, I was doing a quick search for verification and a pic made it look like the cord from the Super Sketch was going straight into the top of the cartridge - but was mistaken. BTW: this guys' listing is all wrong. Not so clearly shows an Atari manual, Atari cartridge and G2300 designation on the cartridge, yet he advertises it as a G2100 C64 version. It HAS to be for the Commodore.
aftyde
What sort of disk controller is in this PEB??? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Texas-Instruments-TI-99-4A-Computer-Expansion-System-PHP1200-with-Modules/184196575647 Anyone recognize?
+9640News
It looks like a TI Clamshell FDC case with a user stuck on label on the side missing the two latch hooks for lifting it from the case. Looks like the ink is smudged on the label and can't be read from the view provided. I've never seen a PEBox with an LED like that above the push button switch, so I am guessing it is a user modified system PEBox. Assuming that is the case and the original owner has been inside the power supply area. I would pay attention and open the disk controller card to make sure the regulators have not been jumpered in the event the original owner modified the power supply as well. The label may be indicative of that warning on the disk controller. If the card has been jumpered, then it would be useable in that PEBox, but not useable in a non-modified PEBox. Omega-TI
It looks like instead of buying a new cable, or purchasing an extra connector for his existing ribbon cable to put both disk drives internally, he decided to cut a hole in the back of the P-Box to use what most people normally use for DSK3. Weird.

+Ksarul
The blurry stuff on the label says: HOME. The rest says "peel backing from label" on the top line and "apply best below top of folder tab" on the lower line. The text on the left and right says "bend here"

I'd like to know the story behind it.

This is one thing I like about Ebay, sometimes people post some really cool images of things that can be used for other things. A while back a guy posted a bunch of NIB pics of a Milton Bradly expansion system. It was kind of nice to see those. Hopefully someday, if there are any left, I'd like to download some NIB P-Box pics.

fimbulvetr
Fully loaded PEB, and looks like it has a p-code card, starting bid $0.99 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/Texas-Instruments-TI-994A-Peripheral-Unit-RS-232-32K-Expansion-computer-/193369043164?&_trksid=p2056016.m2518.l4276
Omega-TI
Not a bad opening price, except shipping to my place would add: BTW what is the card second from the right?
+OLD CS1
7 minutes ago, --- Ω --- said: BTW what is the card second from the right? I think that was identified as the P-Code. Looks about right, but I do not know if any other cards have that switch and nothing else. 3
+save2600
The shipping on that PEB is ridiculous. People not realize USPS is NOT the best choice when sending something so heavy/bulky? Much cheaper through FedEx Ground, which can be dropped off at any Walgreens.
ClassicComp
I have sold 2 PEB's in the last year and a half and shipped them both via FedEx Ground. My shipping costs through them averaged close to $60 each time due to the weight and size. Edited March 5, 2020 by ClassicComp

+OLD CS1
Recently I shipped a 20x20x20 box to myself. It cost the same both ways, even though it weighed 10 pounds more coming back. I am told this is "dimensional weight," and FedEx and UPS both like to use it. 1 1
