A 99/4 up for bidding.  With box and books and basic overlay.  Will be interested to see what that goes for.

Probably not cheap.

Originally sold by Elek-Tek too. They supported TI products pretty heavily from the beginning up until 1986 or so.

I'm not sure that the Applications Programs brochure is archived anywhere either. . .

I goofed on this and now on a mission.  This is one of the Micro Expansions that DOES NOT have the 2nd daughter board installed.  Is has RS232/PIO and only that.  The daugtherboard has the 32k and Disk Controller.  :(

So my question is if someone know where I can get 2 detailed photos of the Daughter/2nd Board for this.  My thought is if I can figure out the schematics that I can create the board myself.  Possibly even craft one with a TIPI on it.

I can take pictures of mine - we should be able to make a PCB easily.

I've agonized for years about bidding on one whenever they came up for sale, but simply could not justify the significant outlay for something that will be sitting on a shelf unused. And yet it calls for me still... I must resist!

Here are the schematics for all of the CorComp devices. The board you are looking for is one of them. . .

Oooh.  I did do some spelunking and found this pack.  Schematic wise this is perfect!  Looking at those UK-002 schems right now.  Hopefully HexBus can get me good Top AND Bottom photos.  I've found some decent Top ones.. but the the Bottom ones elude me.  :)

Ah, the siren's call... the allure... the aroma of undefined love that drips on down in a mist from above...

Just imagine the joy and the triumph of typing in a 500-line BASIC type-in on that nightmare of a keyboard!  Isn't that an experience you need in your life?

Back about 15 years ago there was someone who listed a TI-99/4 for about $40.  They thought it was just a normal TI.  I bought and immediately resold for a pretty penny.  I'm looking at this TI-99/4 as more of a "bargaining chip".  There are a few other things I would like to have and maybe, just maybe it motivate someone to part ways with something else.  Like a CC9900 Micro.  :)

That experience is not complete until you accidentally type OLD CS1 instead of SAVE CS1 afterwards.

(happened to me once, and IIRC Extended Basic w/o 32K drops the program immediately)

Only one word comes to mind watching this: damn...

Back while I was living in New Mexico, they performed this song on SNL. I said I liked the song--and everyone else in the house looked at me weirdly as they slowly inched as far away from me as possible. . . .but then again, I got that reaction a lot while I lived there. Another time I was in a VW Bug full of local people and a song I'd never heard came on the radio. I liked it and asked if any of them knew who it was, as it was good music. Right about then, the refrain started: running with the devil. Everyone in the car except for me was a seriously fundamentalist-type. I thought they were going to toss me from the car at highway speed. . .instead they dropped me off at the next cross street and I walked the rest of the way to where I was going.

Well, Hell's bells!  No sympathy for the devil, eh?
