+grips03 #51 Posted August 25, 2013 Well, whatever is coming, i hope it has a new controller! And maybe a cart slot could be modded in? :-) this could be made today with something like a DC arcade stick and Intv2 PCB. It would have AV + power coming out the back and be quite heavy. DC start button would be the power/reset button. keypad would be in VMU area. Then make the top row of 3 buttons = rapid fire version of S1-S3.

I think what most Intellivision enthusiasts want is a new controller that duplicates the 16-direction functionality, has the three action buttons, and a good keypad that preferably accepts overlays. Anything less is not worth it, anything more is just gravy.
+Gemintronic #53 Posted August 25, 2013 They seemed to support the idea of homebrews, but also emphasized copyright issues. I interpreted it as their support for original homebrews that don't infringe on intellectual property. They kept mentioning the difficulty with untangling complicated copyright issues as obstacles in releasing games. This came up after a Radofin/Aquarius question as well. I must have missed the Radofin questions. Anything juicy?

Games For Your Intellivision #59 Posted August 26, 2013 I'm no lawyer, but I would suspect that they have the rights to games like Night Stalker etc, written for the Aquarius, but would not have any rights to the hardware. I doubt anyone has any interest in them.
