WTB: Vintage Computing Items and Gaming

Recommended Posts

Update February 18, 2014

Note: I am located in Canada, so if you're outside Canada generally shipping anything bigger than games and such costs an arm and a leg.

Items in bold are ones I'm actively seeking.

Hey guys!

I'm just putting a feeler out to see what's out there for some random vintage computing swag. Looking for pieces shipped to: R5G 1R3, Canada

Atari:
410 or 1010 Tape Drive
820 Printer (Maybe a longshot)
Atari Portfolio Personal Computer
5.25" Floppy Games/Programs/Blank Disks
BASIC Programming Books

BASIC Books of games

Magazines

DOS:

DOS Games

3-1/2" Floppies

Game Port Joystick

Game Port Game Pad

PC parts from the mid 90's

Commodore:
Commodore 64, preferably with cables and tape drive

Toshiba:

Toshiba Libretto 70CT

IBM:
Thinkpad Laptops from the mid to late 90's

Sinclair:
ZX-81 System w/cables

Playstation:

Sony PS2 with hookups and at least 1 controller

PS1 Memory Card

PS1 adventure, RPG, arcade style racing games.

Nintendo:

Nintendo DSi or DSi XL system, don't need a charger, box, etc

3DS-XL system for my father

Nintendo Wii, either original or the Mini version doesn't matter. Bonuses would be having motion plus 'motes and a classic controller with it.

General:

Vintage computing advertisements

Vintage computing posters

Still looking ;) Really wouldn't mind a tape drive for my Atari 400! Also adding to the list is:

Sinclair ZX Spectrum

Thanks!

Game Port Joystick

I have a Tandy flight joystick, its a two button with rudder and whatever the side sliders does to wings, hardly ever use it, 1 owner tall with a heavy base, holler if interested, its mostly a dust catcher cause all my vintage pc's are laptops, including my dos machine which has a pcmcia usb card and no game port heh

also have a CHEAP tandy hand held joystick, works with apple II and PC, 2 buttons, crappy sliders on plastic for pots, already glued one down, seems to work fine for now, you can have that for postage (though I am in the states)

Thanks for the reply! Could I see a picture of the Tandy Flightstick? I can't seem to dig much info up about it on Google.

I actually have three Atari 410s, but none of them are functional. If you're handy with electronics though and think you might be able to salvage them, I'd let you have them for the cost of shipping.

I've got 3.5" floppies, gameport gamepads and gameport joysticks, but shipping to Canada from USA is pretty costly. PM me if you'd like more info. Thanks.

Don't know where in Canada you are but someone is selling an Atari Portfolio on Kijiji in the Windsor, Ontario area (Belle River/Lakeshore)

http://windsor.kijiji.ca/c-buy-and-sell-video-games-consoles-older-generation-ATARI-portfolio-with-serial-interface-and-wall-plug-W0QQAdIdZ567087080

Thanks for the heads up! Sadly I'm in Manitoba, so I wouldn't be able to get my hands on it. And it has the serial interface too. Oh well.

Sorry about that. I can't remember if you told me you had family in the area or not. If so could they act as an intermediary on this?

No worries, I appreciate the heads up! I do have family in the area but I don't have much of a relationship with them, so that's a no-go. Every now and again they crop up on eBay, but often for far too much.
