Pitfall, adventure , missile command, demon attack, spider fighter all about even to be honest .

 

But if I had to choose just 1 its pitfall. My hi score in pitfal is 91,000 I'm still dreaming of a perfect score 1 day.

Missile Command is a close second - but the uber number 1 has got to be Space Invaders. In fact, the reason I found this very site and got into the emulation thing was the play VCS Space Invaders. Such an amazing port given the limitations, and lots and lots of nostalgia.

whenever i get a new cart and fire it up to play, i have to have a few games of joust and solar fox before turning off the 2600 or it would feel like the planets haven't aligned, or something. boulderdash has since joined those two, so my holy trinity is:
