I'm gonna be playing 2600 for 25 hours for charity...

I was thinking of going for the original Imagic Expert level as part of my play time (or heck, it may take all my play time or I may never make it, who knows!!!)

Any other thoughts on what I should play? I hope to have my collection unearthed in time for the event, so most any classic and homebrews will be on tap (I won't have an easy way to use my cuttle, so I'm sticking to actual carts but I think with homebrews i'm probably somewhere between 500 and 1,000 carts by now so I do have a lot to choose from :-) )

 

I believe we will have a twitch tv feed of the event, so when I get that info I will post it here.

Just a safety item here - have you had yourself checked out to make sure your body will be ok with a 25hr gaming session? Would hate to see something crazy happen during a live webcast

Dragonfire is one of my favorite games. I could play that one for hours!

I am bringing the complete Imagic library. Dragonfire will definitely be one of the games I will be playing to try for the expert level. One of my all-time faves. Love the rhythms in the game. Someone just put me over my goal! Is that you, BB??

I hope you have a spare 2600 or two on hand. If you're playing 25 hours straight with no breaks, you're bound to burn one up.

Bring Video Chess. That way you'll be able to get in a few hours of sleep while the Atari is calculating its next move.

I used to leave my 2600 on 24/7 to 'pause' pitfall 2 so I woiuldn't loose my progress I'm not worried, but I am planning on bringing a backup to my big sexy just in case :-)

Also, I discovered I'm still very good at the Demon Attack pause. Space Master is just as awesome as ever! Couldn't get my played once lady bug to work on my big sexy was looking forward to that one Power Lords: A lot better than I thought it would be.
