Godzilla #1 Posted August 30, 2013 I was thinking of going for the original Imagic Expert level as part of my play time (or heck, it may take all my play time or I may never make it, who knows!!!) http://www.retroist.com/2013/01/06/were-you-good-enough-for-the-imagic-experts-club/ Any other thoughts on what I should play? I hope to have my collection unearthed in time for the event, so most any classic and homebrews will be on tap (I won't have an easy way to use my cuttle, so I'm sticking to actual carts but I think with homebrews i'm probably somewhere between 500 and 1,000 carts by now so I do have a lot to choose from :-) ) I believe we will have a twitch tv feed of the event, so when I get that info I will post it here. Also, you can sponsor me here (100% to charity!) http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=49511
Goochman #2 Posted August 30, 2013 Just a safety item here - have you had yourself checked out to make sure your body will be ok with a 25hr gaming session? Would hate to see something crazy happen during a live webcast Good luck!
+Gemintronic #3 Posted August 30, 2013 Charity sounds like a harsh mistress. Does she think that one straight 25hr run will make you stop staring at the TV when she comes home?
RetroFiends #4 Posted August 30, 2013 Godzilla, do this and you will be a god among men. (Or rather, a god among lizards) I'll try to stop by stream at some point to say hey.

Godzilla #8 Posted August 31, 2013 Thanks! I've got my adderol and my caffeine and teas :-) Don't worry, though, I will most certainly use the bathroom and eat and stuff So no thoughts on the imagic expert level and ideas for which carts to bring? I'm definitely bringing my light up star castle with my hand drawn title screen

Godzilla #10 Posted August 31, 2013 I am bringing the complete Imagic library. Dragonfire will definitely be one of the games I will be playing to try for the expert level. One of my all-time faves. Love the rhythms in the game. Someone just put me over my goal! Is that you, BB??

TheAtarianGuy #12 Posted September 1, 2013 I hope you have a spare 2600 or two on hand. If you're playing 25 hours straight with no breaks, you're bound to burn one up.
WolfAmongWolves #13 Posted September 2, 2013 Bring Video Chess. That way you'll be able to get in a few hours of sleep while the Atari is calculating its next move.
Godzilla #14 Posted September 2, 2013 I used to leave my 2600 on 24/7 to 'pause' pitfall 2 so I woiuldn't loose my progress I'm not worried, but I am planning on bringing a backup to my big sexy just in case :-)
Godzilla #15 Posted November 3, 2013 Also, I discovered I'm still very good at the Demon Attack pause. Space Master is just as awesome as ever! I achieved joining the Imagic expert club :-)
