Magnavox Odyssey 2 Power Issue

So I am modding another Odyssey 2 and I wired the power LED and the Led is really dim when you turn the power switch on and no output shows on the tv screen.

 

I checked the voltage and it shows ~5 Volts going to the LED as well as the chips on the board.

Would anyone have any Idea what the issue could be?

 

I'm assuming it would be a bad voltage regulator? The one on the Odyssey 2 is two pin...I went to radio shack and they only had the 7805 5+volt 3 pin one.

I know my power supply works cos it works for my other two consoles perfectly.

The chips on the board are firmly in place...It was working prior to me modding it and I didn't do anything different to the motherboard itself.

The cartridge slot and the board itself have been cleaned.

 

Not sure where else to look.
