birdie3 #1 Posted February 27, 2003 That isnt duck turd flying at you so dont worry about getting poop on your hat. Its actually a seed being dropped to help you grow your garden back. I just got this game and I had to read the intructions because I kept dying after about 30 seconds. What a cool game. Does anybody else like this game or am I just a gimp?? Atariboy #2 Posted February 28, 2003 I hated it, was too simple I suppose. Nothing special I hadn't seen numerous times before.
sku_u #3 Posted February 28, 2003 I have this one as well. I'm not too excited about this game or any other US Games releases I own. Most of them are entertaining, but very inferior to games made by other companies (like Activision and 20th Century Fox).
birdie3 #4 Posted March 2, 2003 I would have to agree that there are way better games out there, yet the comical idea of bopping a gopher on the head is good for a 10 second chuckle. I like Entombed for a US Games release.

I like Entombed for a US Games release. That seems to be the perennial favorite. Raft Rider isn't too bad though.
cvga #6 Posted March 2, 2003 I actually like this game. It's simple but they did a good job with it. I bought this game in our local grocery store back in 1983 (or whatever year it came out). I think I'm biased in favor of games I owned as a kid. If I just got the game now, I probably wouldn't be as fond of it.

I got it for Christmas from my Grandmother back in the day and, because it was one of only a small handful of games that I owned, I played the hell out of it. I'm still quite fond of it but, like CVGA, I may be biased.

Some of my favorite games for the 2600 are Bowling and Night Driver and mainly because they were among the first games I acquired.

Journey Escape, Bank Heist, and Donkey Kong are other games that I'm probably biased in favor of because I owned them as a kid. On the other hand, I also owned Sssnake, Krull, and Fire Fighter and I still think those are stinkers.
