Do You Love Mega Man?

You realize by doing that you'd be defeating the whole purpose of Kickstarter? No project would get off the ground if everybody approached them that way.

 

Considering its well past funded, why would it matter. In my personal opinion, if people won't pledge until it gets past the console port tier, then they won't make it. I don't want to play it on PC or Mac but I pledged, as I want him to get to that stretch goal so we can play it on consoles.

The first "Mega Man" is the only game in the series I've actually completed. I love MM2 but never made it all the way through Wiley's castle.

 

 

When I played "Mega Man X" as a kid, I thought the spider boss that kept coming down at you was the final boss and I couldn't figure out how to beat it. More recently I reached the true final boss playing on an emulator and it's virtually impossible to defeat even knowing its weak spot and which weapon to use. I gave up.

Wowee, you can take Mega Man on the NES but not Mega Man X? I needed the crutches from upgrades/energy subtanks so bad. MMX is the only Mega Man subseries I've ever been good at lol

I may have gotten as far as beating the first or second Dr. Wily stage boss, thought I'd won, and turned it off.

Update from today:

 

-As we mentioned in the update, we are looking into different options regarding the possibility of Vita and 3DS versions, possibly as later stretch goals, or through other methods. We honestly aren’t sure how this will turn out, but we can tell you we do hear you, and we are doing all we can to look into ways to make it happen. (By the way, these are not either of the “???” mystery stretch goals -- both of those are game-content related.)

-We’re super thrilled to see the great response to our Beck & Call online co-op mode! Some people have been asking if a Call-only single-player level or levels could be possible; it’s something we have been discussing and could be possible as a later stretch goal, should we be so lucky as to reach many of our current goals.

-We are still pricing out and investigating the possibility of some kind of physical version of the game as an additional new reward tier. Watch this space!

 

We should hit the Boss Rush stretch goal any time now...

I loved the games on the NES and SNES (Mega Man III being my personal favorite), but everything after that left me a bit cold (including Legends). This looks like a return to form...
