It is fun. I would say some levels are easy (especially ones with only one or two burgers to build) and some are more difficult. It may be a bit easier than the original BurgerTime but then that could be because there are fewer levels in your game where there are intentional dead-ends.

Google "Avast Paypal" and you will see that they have false triggers. Is Avast a new product? This is the first people have told me they had an issue with ordering. Oh well, less games for me to ship

Maybe I spent to much time on Tennis (understandable from my point of view). I want to think the screens are challenging enough to enjoy and not be bored going through them.

 

I doubt you have seen all the screens. The later ones should be more challenging. I am sure they all have a pattern you can figure out. All the screens get much more difficult when you get to level 2.

 

Has anyone found the freeze feature useful?

That is the irony to me. The Intellivision was strong in sports games but it seems like most people do not care about them. Am I wrong? Do we need a one player Boxing? (hahahahahahaha) Is that the only sports game that does not have a one player mode?

You're right, Boxing is the only one w/o a one-player mode. You could name the opponent the Automated Boxing Emulator, or A.B.E.

I played tennis for a bit last night as well. Though since I've never played the original or Championship Tennis (even though I own both for sake of completeness), it's going to take some time for me to get a hang of the game. I expect to be playing it more this weekend. Just don't expect me to be McEnroe.

Valter or someone will do a poll for game of the year. We have to wait to see if any other titles will release this year so the poll may not start till Dec 31. I should have done what the movie industry does...wait till the last month to release. Next time.

But I can already say: Damn nice boxes and inserts. I really enjoy the high quality of this games. I especially like the green box of Tennis, its the most beautyful box of the new releases so far for me (talking about all releases from all publishers).

I played Tennis so far, here my opinion: Its pretty hard at the beginning, but if you get used to the controls its very addictive. It took a while til I found out how to serve, but it works now. The opponent is really tough, thats good But for me the "easy" mode is harder than the advantage level, its so slow

 

Is there a difference in the AI too, or is it just the speed of the game?

 

All in all a pretty good sports game which could entertain me for hours. But I have a question: Sometimes the opponent doesnt serve and I'll do it for him with controller 2, then he serves alone again, what I am doing wrong?

Played SCBT yesterday and actually had to RTFM... frozen baddies were causing me to die. WTF? Top button freezes all baddies on screen but you can't run over them. Bottom button behaves as normal. Wish that were reversed since I use my middle finger to fire. Really unnatural to keep the middle finger on the lower button, which can cause a slight overlap between your hands. Besides that and some unavoidable life draining levels, love the new Burgertime!

Please read page 4 and 5 of the manual. It explains when TED will serve. He is courteous

Thanks for the feedback. Page 5 tells you that they are not stunned. Using the freeze feature requires you to plan ahead.

 

Sorry about the side key assignments. It feels completely natural to me. I am used to hitting all 4 keys after playing Bomb Squad hours on end. Even Tennis requires you to use the upper and lower side keys. I hope you can get used to using the lower side key or send me your cart back and I will update your game.

Yeah, key layouts are always a matter of personal taste. And thanks Dave, I found out that TED just serves when I am in the right position to return. But damn, this guy is really tough, I just get points with net rollers until now
