StellaAdaptor question

I have a Stelladaptor and am running MAC OSX 10.7.5. I am running STELLA 3.9. How do you get paddles to work? Will driving controllers work? It seems that I had driving controllers working on Stella in an older release.

I doubt keyboard and other controllers such as the booster grip would work, has anybody tried it or know about this particular kind of input?

AFAIK paddles don't work on the Stelladaptor. Only digital joysticks do.

Stelladaptor supports Driving Controllers, Joysticks and Paddles.

 

I believe you need to have the paddles plugged into the Stelladaptor and the Stelladaptor plugged into a USB port before starting Stella.

And the game in question has to actually use Paddles, as specified in its ROM Properties (most ROMs are set up to work correctly, but it's worth pointing out anyway).

 

EDIT: You definitely need the Stelladaptor plugged into a USB port before starting Stella, but the actual joystick/paddle/etc can be plugged in later.
