Breakout mini game in Major Havoc?

Has anyone actually finished this? And if so, what happens when you beat it?

I don't know if the player gets anything but I've seen what it looks when it's finished. It's just a Major Havoc in the Breakout screen.

I don't remember the specifics, but your skill at playing the Breakout mini-game is supposed to have an effect on how difficult the next space battle will be. Beyond that, i don't think there was any special reward for finishing the game. Like Bakasama said, from that point on you just see Major Havoc himself in that frame, with the phrase, "Well done," or something similar.

The Breakout game gives you an opportunity to earn a new life, and you can enter secret codes during it to skip levels. According to what Owen told us, Breakout was simply added via a bet that he couldn't code a game of Breakout in the 89 bytes that were left in the game ROM.

I think I read in Retro Gamer magazine you get a free life.
