DemonoidTentacle #1 Posted September 30, 2013 Hi all, As you may have heard, I lost my 2600 game collection. After pondering my pathetic existence, I decided to start afresh, focused on CIB. Please, if it turns out I think something is CIB and it's missing something, let me know! I'm starting out slow, but I'll keep this updated. The four I got. Jungle Hunt - Sealed (Don't worry, I'll open this bad boy up soon enough) See Monster / Sea Monster
DemonoidTentacle #2 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) Pac Kong - I was just so curious as I had not come across it before. Could it be a Pac Man clone? Or a Donkey Kong clone? Amidar - I was thinking this could be a DK clone, too. But it's not. Also to note, does anyone know why my thumbnails are upside down? The originals on my computer are right way up. high voltage #3 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) Because you're from 'down under'. Anyways, well done for starting collecting VCS again, I 'lost' my collection in 2004 (had to be sold) and I regretted it ever since, it was the worst thing I've done in my life. I started up collecting VCS again, and it's the best thing ever. Edited September 30, 2013 by high voltage
karokoenig #4 Posted September 30, 2013 (edited) Pac Kong is more like Donkey Kong than Pac Man. And it's godawful. I have it cart only, and I have tried to play it. The cover looks kinda cool, but is misleading: Amidar, on the other hand, is an awesome game. People often get fooled by it's apparently slow gameplay. Interesting that you found those german games in Australia. Edited September 30, 2013 by karokoenig
DemonoidTentacle #5 Posted September 30, 2013 Interesting that you found those german games in Australia. I actually scored them at a fair price from a bloke in Germany.
DemonoidTentacle #6 Posted August 10, 2014 It's been a while, friends. I haven't had much to do with the forums in close to a year. But I return with good news. My 2600 collection has been located, so I've had one of my 2600's shipped to me with all my games and have celebrated by playing Frogger for the last few hours. I still can't break the 3,000 mark, but I'll get there one of these days. Time to really start getting serious again with a few CIB pickups. The cases have seen better days, but the Demon Attack and Atlantis carts are like new.
