I recently won an Atari 410 cassette recorder on ebay. Unfortunately, it arrived mangled, the plastic case having been broken near the buttons. I haven't tested it out, but if someone wants it for parts, you're welcome to it. I'm in 92612. You can pick it up for free, or I would charge you only for actual shipping.

I'm interested. I have a 410 in very nice condition, but the belts are bad. Can you please let me know if fast-forward and rewind both work with a tape inserted? Sorry to be a pest -- tell me to buzz off if this is asking too much. Thanks.
