vincewy #2 Posted August 6, 2014 Update, as of August 5th MVS is sold out. However, there are still a few AES copies available for pre-orders: http://www.neobitz.com/KnightsChance
+Gemintronic #3 Posted August 6, 2014 Some Neo Geo homebrew developers have made both Dreamcast and AES versions of their games. Obviously, at $500 dollars a pop, most gamers are not the target audience. Having a version on a less expensive platform expands your customer base and even spreads awareness for the AES version. Just my two cents
Raccoon Lad #4 Posted August 8, 2014 That's pretty pricey for a game, especially for what appears to be a game consisting of poker, blackjack, yahtzee and memory. The art, presentation, etc is quite nice though.

While I agree that it's steep, a lot of the low production commercial titles we see today for systems of that vintage (snes, genesis, etc) often run close to or as much as a game for the system did 'back in the day.' Pricey as it is, this title doesn't come close. Neo Geo MVS kits were $1k-$2k items at launch. Now those were some pricey carts, especially in 1990's dollars and considering they came in a plain cardboard box with little in the way of extras. Actually the pricing on Knight's Chance has been a refreshing change from the considerably higher prices of other recent unlicensed MVS releases. Surely it's still just a bit too rich for me. I know that some day I will decide it's time to really pull out my wallet for a neo geo cart, but today isn't that day yet. The art, presentation, etc is quite nice though. The game is well made and the neo-geo community has given the MVS release positive reviews on it. If you check out the "The Official NEO-GEO Thread" a review was done by Project POE on page 4, #91 and explains more about this title and how its like a long lost Neo-Geo game! Also, Jeff Kurtz at Neobitz is a respectable member in the community on neo-geo.com. If you really want high quality, Jeff is the person that you should consider. There are those on the forums that have a checkered past, but Jeff is known for being honest and reliable! That's why his game (Knight's Chance) is sold out on the MVS and the AES pre-orders are almost complete! Anthony...
