Picture distortion on my atari 2600

My atari is not showing the whole picture it's missing pixel can it be fixed? Or is it just ruined?

Post a picture if you can or explain more in detail as to what you mean about "missing pixel"?

It does it on all games I've cleaned the cartridge slot and the cartridges

Ah yes ok looks to be a hardware problem from what i can see if all the games do the same thing. Have you tried testing it on another TV? Just to rule that side of things out. Personally i couldnt tell you what part of the system has packed up, but im thinking it could be caused from a short. Make sure a nephew or someone hasnt spilt a drink or something on the system creating a short on the main board, open it up and look for sticky residue. If you know it's clean and in good condition then it may unfortunately be a hardware problem.

 

There is a few members on here that do repairs and they may respond to the post, also if its just a 4 switch woody or something common it may be cheaper getting one off Ebay then repairing. Good luck.

have you tried pushing the cart up, down, and to each side when booting up? Everything could be clean but maybe the connections are physically in a slightly off place.
