xenomorpher
The Evil Within 1 and 2 are now on sale on GOG for $4.99 and $9.99 respectfully. I know the second one is better regarded, not that the first is bad necessarily. I remember not liking how you couldn't use your knife as a primary weapon when you ran out of ammo in the first game demo. Not sure if they changed that or if there's a mod, but that always irked me since it's something you could do even in the first Resident Evil and most survival horror games. Played it originally when it came out. Very disappointing. Not even worth downloading for free, which is probably why they are dumping it. The dumbed down gameplay is the problem. The CE, and some of the CE DX versions were much better. later -

I hope you don't live in Japan because this awesome game is not available here, like most Sega PC games. Everyone should experience that game since it's one of those once in a decade kind of game for the series. The trend now is multiplayer focused unfortunately and that's what the next one will be last I heard unless it's been canned. Anyways for $2 it's a must own. Doesn't look very exciting, and the gameplay looks too repetitive for my tastes (hide, kill, die). I don't think there would be much replay value either. I remember playing the alien total conversion way back when Doom came out. That was pretty cool though. Also enjoyed the Aliens vs Predator pc game from the 90s. later -1 Edited April 28, 2020 by negative1
