+KeeperofLindblum #853 Posted November 17, 2017 I snapped it up but wasn't that like some PC game of the year/update edition of Killer 7 for Gamecube? Killer is Dead is actually a full different title from Suda 51. It's got a similar style to Killer 7, but it's a hack and slash title with some weird dating stuff? It's a good game, but it's kinda forgettable. I just figure I should always share anything I see free on here.

Guest LiqMat #856 Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Free pre-alpha download of a brand new FPS called Apocryph. Get it while it's still being offered. Played it through and it's pretty cool especially in 8-bit mode. Kind of a modern take on Hexen or Heretic. http://www.bigzur.com/ Note: Some people have reported the email with the download link may be reported by your email client as malicious or spam. It's a confirmed false positive. My Gmail account had no issues with it at all. Just an FYI. Edited November 19, 2017 by LiqMat

negative1 #859 Posted November 22, 2017 A very cool puzzle game : Engare http://store.steampowered.com/app/415170/Engare/ $6.99 Engare is a game about motion and geometry. Part puzzle game, part drawing tool, Engare is all about your geometric imagination. By selecting a point on a moving object, players trace delicate shapes in the air and hopefully match the target glyph for that level. It’s a meditation on the dynamics of simple machines and the beauty buried deep within repeating motion. The game also offers a sandbox where players can draw their own geometric shapes and patterns using the systems introduced in the game. It allows the player to export their drawings as images or 3D models. later -

Flojomojo #865 Posted November 29, 2017 Anyone else feeling Humble Bundle fatigue? I used to get every single one. Now, I'm full, saturated, satiated. I'm sure there are people still discovering them, but I would think many of their "whales" feel like I do.

I would require these many heads and arms 365 days a year for many years to finish all the crap I have accumulated on my hard drives. I realize I have a problem. I'm sure there are people still discovering them, but I would think many of their "whales" feel like I do. The last one I bought was 2 years ago I guess now (or 3?) the SNK Neo Geo 25th Anniversary bundle. Before that I had already fairly well written it off and not done one probably a year before. The hype got boring fast, then the guilt and annoyance set in buying a bunch of crap I had no interest in to get one or two games at best from a package while the rest would just rot unused for good. I don't buy bundles anymore, singles, and usually on 66%+ off seasonal/super special sales and I have to want to play it right then or within the quarter when a sale would roll up again. Right now I'm actually going through Steam and GoG late last night and erasing games I have no interest in or know I'll never bother to make time to get around to too. it's a space pig, first gone were bundles and freebie of the day crap. GoG I have like 90 active and over 60 filler/hidden. I wish I could not just HIDE but remove them permanently, same goes with Steam too. Steam is down around a couple dozen games between filler crap and doubles with the other site.

Then there's the anime oriented games that are nothing but point and click adventures, etc... Anytime I see a bundle that looks interesting, I check what I already have and only half the titles are new to me.

One Humble Bundle that I wish we would see more the likes of is the Frozenbyte bundle which included the unreleased Jack Claw prototype. It was fun to mess around with. How cool would it be to see some of the cancelled, unfinished, unreleased PC prototypes and betas that devs just toss into the dark abyss. I love historical stuff like that. http://press.frozenbyte.com/sheet.php?p=jack_claw Edited November 29, 2017 by LiqMat
