Asaki #1107 Posted September 28, 2018 It's not a video game, but I'm not sure if I want to start a new thread. Bundle of Holding has a great Tunnels & Trolls bundle right now: https://www.bundleofholding.com/presents/TunnelsAndTrolls If you've never heard of T&T, it was Ken St. Andre's answer to D&D, who felt that those combat rules were too complicated. It gained popularity for having a lot of solo modules released for it. If you've ever played Fighting Fantasy, Lone Wolf, or Choose-Your-Own-Adventure, they all got the idea from T&T. No polyhedral dice required, just lots of d6.

xenomorpher #1110 Posted October 4, 2018 Shadow Warrior 2 is also free at GOG.com, so claim it on the main page before the offer expires.
Flojomojo #1111 Posted October 9, 2018 Nice GOG sale right now, but I bristle at their advertising language: "Got the time? We've got the games to fill it!" because I already have ost of the on-sale games I want, but no time to play them. sad face
Tanooki #1112 Posted October 9, 2018 There are a few decent deals in that lot, but mostly they're pretty weak compared to their seasonal cuts on the same things. But if you're not waiting for the winter sale, Star Trek, Descent and a few others in there are real winners. Newer game, but hoping to eventually catch COD WW2 for at least 50% off since I don't do that douchy online play so I'm only buying 1/2 the game as far as i'm concerned. Asaki #1115 Posted October 24, 2018 Lol, as if it's some closely guarded secret that Steam always has a sale for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas/New Years =) Spoilers: Hotline Miami 2 will be on sale!
Tanooki #1116 Posted October 24, 2018 Exactly. I hinge many of my PC gaming buys on what GoG and Steam do with their known stuff they do. They do quarterly sales for the seasons, and then major holidays get them as well. Knowing this you at worst may have to wait 3mo or a matter of weeks before another big one hits, and often the same games crack into those deals because the publishers are fine with it, while others may only hit into one or two of those sales a year around the biggest moments to peddle goodies like the BlackFriday/Christmas shopping sales events. Flojomojo #1117 Posted October 24, 2018 The Humble WB sale is pretty nice, $12 for a couple of Batman games (incl the newest), Bastion, Scribblenauts, Mad Max, Shadow of Mordor, Injustice https://www.humblebundle.com/games/wb-games-classics-bundle
Tanooki #1118 Posted October 29, 2018 Major sale at GoG.com for Halloween going on until a day or two after. There are some solid cuts even topping over 90% off this go around.
Tanooki #1119 Posted November 2, 2018 https://www.gog.com/game/jill_of_the_jungle_the_complete_trilogy JILL OF THE JUNGLE TRILOGY -- FREE! Not sure if this is forever or just for now, grab it. This was one of the very early Epic Games platformer releases of really high notable quality, in the era of Commander Keen she was just as memorable and perhaps a bit more fun. I missed this game when I saw Epic hit the store with Jazz, Epic Pinball, and a few others. This along with Solar Winds and Silverball were on my short list of sadly missing stuff. I've not played this since the early 90s, hope it aged well.
Flojomojo #1120 Posted November 2, 2018 LOL you're faster than me, I came here to post about Jill of the Jungle, too. I like Atari 2600 games but remember this to be super primitive. I'll be giving it another try.

JamesD #1122 Posted November 2, 2018 Destiny 2 for free, claim by Nov 18th https://www.destinythegame.com/battlenet The download is 80 GB. My monthly data is 100 GB. Du-Oh!
Tanooki #1123 Posted November 3, 2018 I'll test the limits of my ISP, 80GB is nasty though. I added it to my account at least, why not? I did like the original one for a good stretch but got fed up with some of its shortcomings for 1P play and the stupid lack of a lobby that really worked. power #1125 Posted November 15, 2018 Is Destiny 2 actually worth the download if you're not a hardcore online gamer? They still charge you for the Forsaken DLC... I bought Destiny 2 and regret it, waste of money imo. just activate a blizzard account for free maybe load it up and see if you like it got nothing to lose but a bit of time.
