triverse
Sacred Line: Genesis is a visual novel/digital comic for the Sega Genesis, it is fully compatible with actual hardware using flashcarts such as Everdrive and runs great in emulators on the platform of your choice. SL:G is a horror title that uses the same engine as the unofficial Silent Hill on Genesis game. Sasha Darko has the game available for sale on their site right now. For more info on the game, please check out Retro Gaming Mag's coverage: http://retrogamingmagazine.com/2013/09/25/sacred-linegenesis/ http://retrogamingmagazine.com/2013/10/31/preview-sacred-line-genesis-sega-genesis/ To order your copy of the game (delivered to your e-mail): http://sashadarko.com
rhcocker
Thanks for the info, but do you know if there is a plan for a cart release?
triverse
A cartridge release was supposed to happen through Watermelon (the Pier Solar publisher) but it was scrapped due to problems with the sound and game engine. I have an interview with the developer and will definitely be going in depth on a cartridge version.
sasha_darko
triverse, Thanks for the thread, but it's already here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/217938-sacred-line-genesis-new-thrillerhorror-for-sega-genesismd-out-now/ By the way, please press Ctrl+F in emulator to uncheck a Show FPS option (I thought I turned it off in the review package, hmmm...). The problem with WAV can also be fixed by replacing all sound with a new tracker soundtrack. It's all just needs time, a lot of it.

I was just wondering if you've already tried the method where you play back a blank, soundless file to stop the current music. If it doesn't work for you I'm not going to try playing with GINCs anymore myself.
triverse
Thanks sasha_darko, I did a search but I apparently only did it on this section of the forums, it didn't come up so I made this topic. Thanks for the tip on the frame counter, I didn't even catch that. I will make sure it is not in the pics used for the review. sasha_darko
Hey! If it doesn't work for you I'm not going to try playing with GINCs anymore myself. Sorry, I forgot to reply on that one. It won't work there. Actually, the game engine must be hacked to insert another WAV player (and it will fix the problem). Both developers of the engine (original and mod) won't help with this because they don't care about the engine anymore, so it's all up to its users.
