+Gemintronic #1 Posted November 7, 2013 Just a warning for those with a JXD S5110 Android device: the latest update bricks it. Got the latest firmware direct from their website. Got half-way through the update process and then the progress bar started looping indefinitely. Waited about 15 minutes and still nothing. Had no choice but to reset/shutdown. No power light after that. Tried the usual power + "+" power then reset power + back/menu. Nothing. Nada. I stopped buying PSPs and Vitas because firmware updates could brick your machine. OldSchoolRetroGamer #2 Posted November 7, 2013 That sucks, I only used custom Firmware's on my JXD s7300 and and s51100 as they removed all the needless chinese crap and set up properly with google Play and other features as well as adding features.
