So if you ever wondered how the inside of you're console looks like, but you didn't dare to open it, here you go.

Didn't dare to open It? Thats usually the first thing I do when I find a new treasure. Open it up and clean it inside and out. Pretty sweet site very good reference material.

Same here. out of curiosity and for cleaning/visual inspection (this is how I spotted a broken capacitor lead in my Bally Arcade. I don't wanna think of the consequences if I had tried to power it on with the big cap not wired... Maybe nothing, maybe... nothing on screen).

And same goes for controllers. Especially flat pads like SNES/NES ones... oh my, sometime you have more dirt than electronics inside

I don't have trouble opening a console. Do it very often, modding g7000, addind db9 ports to the cdtv, replace capacitors on thd cd32, gamegear, and very soon on one of my vectrexs. It's for those that are affraid of breaking things.
