Fushek
What would you do in my situation? Guy lists an Intellivision and games for a BIN of $30. Standard shipping option is for $40 (yikes!) and the other is $5 for Expedited (winner!). Even says in the description: Ships by STANDARD MAIL (4-14 business days) FOR ONLY $5 and get upgraded to PRIORITY or FIRST CLASS MAIL (2-3 business days) & with FREE delivery confirmation and email tracking I bought and paid the $5 shipping. Immediately get a response of "obvious error in the listing. Refunding your money and re-listing." I could be Mr. Nice Guy and let him off the hook, however, knowing myself as a seller I'd probably go through with the deal. Already messaged my displeasure ... would you push the issue? http://www.ebay.com/itm/301014420492?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
+save2600
obviously an error with the shipping price. I wouldn't expect anyone to ship a system and games for $5, so what I'd do is offer to pay the difference. Guy should have presented that as an option instead of refunding you the total and relisting it.
Donnicton
I'd still make a complaint to eBay, personally. But keep an eye on how he relists it, or if he relists it. Particularly if he relists with a higher starting bid or doesn't change the shipping cost on the next relist. Gabriel
I probably wouldn't have even tried to buy it with such an obvious lack of attention to the listing. But if I had gone through with it, at least I got my money back. So, I'd let it drop.

I had offered to pay the difference in ACTUAL shipping (not the $40 fiasco ...) and he eventually agreed. So, to his credit, we worked through the issue. Got a good unit (and some good games!) for a good price!
