PFL
Obligatory newbie Colecovision question... What's a good emulator that runs on today's PC's? I've tried a few but they all seem to be ancient and don't run on my system with various compatibility issues. So is there something newer kicking around than ColEm? I've been intrigued by the CV for a while but never had the chance to play one. Please help an old man realise his dream.

ClassicGMR
I also have a windows 7 64 bit pc and bluemsx works great. I read about this in another thread and I cannot believe how good it is. To think I've been missing this emulator forever. A definite download.
Ikrananka
I also have a windows 7 64 bit pc and bluemsx works great. Agreed - this is what I use on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. The emulation accuracy is also spot on.
NIAD
BlueMSX is without a doubt the top CV emulator, but I still use M.E.S.S. from time to time as well as Virtual ADAM and both of those emulators will work on a Win 7 system as well. Manoau2002
someone know if emulator can run sgm game like king's valley or thexder I am pretty sure that publically there isn't. I thought I read somewhere that opcode customized the emulator to support sgm for his own personally useage. (for development)Either way at this time no roms have been released that use the sgm. PFL
Thank you. Bluemsx works well though the GUI took a bit of getting used too. Finally, I can try out some of these lauded arcade ports. The system is like hens teeth in the UK so it's not like I can just pop to a shop and pick up a cheap system. This is where emulation really shines for me. Again, thank you.
