WTB Vectrex Lightpen Clone

I sent a request to the store. Is the imager they sell a reproduction?

Yes. But more of a custom repro of the function, not the form. Similar to the lightpen working as the actual lightpen, but having a different appearance.

 

I have one of the imagers and can say it works at least as good as the original Vectrex Imager I also have. In some ways much better, since the mounting mechanism is more than the simple strap and foam of the original.

Thanks for the information. I put my name down for both. I've never owned an imager and it would be neat to be able to play the 3d games.

Looks cool. Do you know if its powered by the vectrex (2nd player port) or by ac power?

It's powered by the Vectrex, same as the official headset.

Recycledgamer.com is selling Repro Light Pens again. They're avAilable on Chucks website and eBay.
