Charlie_ #2 Posted January 5, 2014 Hello. Would you know if this mouse adapter would allow a mouse to work in Atari mode on the 8-bit Atari. There are a couple games I can think of, Missile Command + and the new Pad game. Thanks! http://atariage.com/forums/topic/191864-pad-15-beta/page-3?do=findComment&comment=2897188
ctirad #3 Posted January 8, 2014 Sure. If the application supports either Atari ST or Amiga mouse it will work. The PAD for example, works perfectly even in the default high DPI mode. For some apps, like GUI, you need to switch the adapter onto slow mode, but that's all.

Charlie_ #7 Posted January 31, 2014 Received my adapter yesterday and wanted to say it works fantastic. I tried several LED PS/2 mice on my Mega STe and all worked great. One mouse in particular had too much acceleration, but all the others were just right. I was even able to use an older Logitech USB wheel mouse with an adapter to PS/2 and it worked great also. On the A8 the mouse worked perfectly at default speed with the game Pad, and Missile Command + (press cntrl-t for trakball) Nice and smooth. I should have ordered two... eightbit #11 Posted February 20, 2014 Received mine today. Highly recommended device! I am using it with a "Roadrunner" PS2 mouse I found at a local Goodwill for a dollar. Very low profile device, and works perfectly with my 1040STfm. I'd like to order another one! GREAT job on this!
jttheninja #12 Posted March 9, 2014 I will have to keep this in mind...I use an original IBM PS/2 mouse at work because I love the feel of it. []
