Not only is Zanac superior to Xevious, but the Aleste series (Zanac, MUSHA, Space Megaforce, Blazing Lazers) is consistently better than the Xevious franchise. Much props to Xevious for getting the ball rolling on the vertically scrolling shooter genre, though. You ever play the Sprite-themed version of Xevious that was on the Japanese Coca-Cola web site? gorfcadet #5 Posted December 8, 2013 I agree with Jess. The Aleste series is just quality stuff. Don't forget Robo Aleste on Sega CD! I love Blazing Lasers; wasn't there another T16/PC Engine game in that series, or just many others that were very similar. Don't forget the Star Soldier games!
