Intellfan #1 Posted December 8, 2013 Most of the posts on here about trying to get the best condition box or cart. This post is about my worst and it happens to be the first cart I ever bought since it had three games on it Triple Action. I had a Great Dane in the mid eighty's named Magnum. He liked this Cart too. Amazingly enough the cart still works like a champ LOL
jaybird3rd #2 Posted December 8, 2013 I still have my first cartridge, too; it's a Night Stalker cart that my great-grandmother gave to me as a Christmas gift, even though I didn't have an Intellivision at the time (I've told that story elsewhere). I'm currently using it to host my Cuttle Cart 3 board. I would say that it's amazing yours still works, but in fact, I'm not surprised. Those old cartridges are pretty durable!
+Lathe26 #3 Posted December 8, 2013 Well, I still have the first Intellivision console and most of the games that my grandfather ever bought. He bought the system for all the grandkids. Eventually, I got it a few years ago (there are few stories of what happened in-between that I'm skipping for brevity).
IntellivisionDude #4 Posted December 8, 2013 I wish i still had my first cart. But it is long lost. Most of my most played carts were filthy and the label names almost worn right off. If i remember right not too long before the games were sold my very first cart (Burgertime), i could barely get to load since the contacts were so dirty and this was years before i learned about q-tips and rubbing alcohol.
JasonlikesINTV #5 Posted December 9, 2013 One of these days, I'm going to contact the guy I gave all of my original carts to and see if he still has them. I haven't seen him in years, but I think I could get a hold of him. I don't even remember if I had any rare carts, but I'd love to see them again to find out. Most of my old collection was from the Mattel days, though. I'd probably offer him a hundred bucks for the 20 or so loose commons I gave him....Damn you, Nostalgia!
HunterZero #6 Posted December 9, 2013 I still have the first cartridge that came with my system: Star Strike, still boxed with manual and overlays. It's a bit beat up, but it's still all there. - J
+SoulBuster #7 Posted December 9, 2013 I still have my first console and cart. Intellivision II with BurgerTime and my original ESC bought in 1983. Can't remember when I got the Intellivoice, but it was used.
