Recommended Posts

didn't know where to post this but i think atariage should have a classic handheld forum. for all the tabletops and classic portable handhelds. that would be fun. anyone agree?

I think that would be a great idea. I saw a Donkey Kong hh sell for $99.99. A bit rich for my blood at this time though. Don't have much experience with them though, other then having played a few back in the day. How much do they normally sell for?

The way that sort of thing has always been done on Usenet is, a new group gets created when the volume of posts in an existing group on one particular subtopic starts to dominate the existing group.

So, why not just start talking about the handhelds in the existing Classic Gaming forum? The Vectrex and Adventurevision have definitely seen some discussion there and I'd think that VFD/LCD/LED games would be fair game too.

I LOVE handhelds and always have. What do you want to talk about in regards to them though? ;)

There is a really fantastic handheld website out there. It's called something like Plastic Museum or something like that (now watch... it won't be anything like that at all...). Perhaps they have a forum over there?

Of course I'd love to see that kind of thing here since the Al's know how to run a railroad. But I guess they can't cover all of classic gaming's flickering LED bases, can they?
