CGQuarterly #1 Posted December 12, 2013 I just uploaded a short review of this awesome book. YouTube Link If you like what you see, you can buy the book here. I also uploaded a review of Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing yesterday. It's a great game, but I didn't think that the review warranted its own thread. Thanks for looking! Hyperboy #2 Posted January 7, 2014 Just received my copy as a filler for an amazon order and damn I'm glad I did, great stuff to add to the library!
Greg2600 #3 Posted January 8, 2014 Nice review, good thing that book is $9 because it's pretty light on substance. Not worth my shelf space. Mansell is a good game, I had the Indy car sequel on SNES back then. Got it used from Funcoland, was a fun game though of course Indianapolis was missing (licensing). Atariboy #4 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) One nice touch with this game is the national anthem during the podium celebration. If you win, it plays a shortened version for whatever country you selected as your nationality. If this impressed you like it appeared to, you owe it to yourself to check out Top Gear on the Super Nintendo from the same developer. Just as smooth, tons of detail, great music, and fun arcade style sprite scaling racing action. Edited January 8, 2014 by Atariboy
CGQuarterly #5 Posted January 8, 2014 Oh, dude. I LOVE Top Gear. I didn't realize that they were from the same developer.
