just got a tablet....want mame!

I just got a table, nothing crazy. a proscan for $80. I want to download the right mame for it. can anyone help? i download a mame last night but it wont let me open it or do anything.

I use MAME4droid on my android 2.6 phone.

ok, i have a question......i hate using the phone itself as a joystick and i got a "usb" converter to my phone so i can use my controller on the phone and it does not work. can someone help me out?

You may have better luck with bluetooth controllers. (PS3, Wii, etc). I don't think USB device support is too great in Android.
