Classic Pac
If you have an extra $10,000 to spare this one could be yours http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2428467,00.asp
xDragonWarrior
Man for 10K you would expect to at least get a matching gold controller. Edited December 18, 2013 by xDragonWarrior
+Random Terrain
"The console was manufactured my Microsoft but gold plated by the customization company Crystal Rocked." I guess things really are getting worse for everybody. Looks like PC Magazine can't afford an editor.

+Random Terrain
There are cheaper alternatives, ya know . . . I always wonder if the paint that do-it-yourselfers use on their controllers causes cancer or other health problems since they have to touch it all of the time when playing.
Gabriel
I saw that the other day. I'm sure we all have ridiculous things we'd spend tons of money on. For me, this type of item is not one of them.

For me, this type of item is not one of them. Ditto. I don't even want an Xbox, so why would I pay 10 grand to have one that's gold-plated? If I was gonna have a gold-plated Xbox, I'd want one a last gen fatty 360 with the RROD, because all something like that is good for is an "art" piece. Anyone who buys this isn't going to game on it, or they have a spare normal console for gaming.

Doesn't like every other thing you can purchase as a consumer eventually get linked to cancer? Some people will see this item and say whoever would buy it was an idiot. (Because it was a foolish purchase and not worth it) The same person will spend $50 on a home brew Atari 2600 game, two or three times a year and not think twice about it. (Because it was smart investment and totally worth it) Go figure.
Metal Ghost
There are cheaper alternatives, ya know: Wow man, I would never get results like that. Nice paint job....I'd have drips and bubbles everywhere.

Mord
Only if they touch themselves afterwards! So what... you're saying it wasn't an unfortunate smelting accident?
