Robot2600 Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 I recommend Super Meat Boy and The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, both titles reward some practice while remaining difficult as hell. cimerians Posted December 20, 2013 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Hard Corps Uprising is the most Contra-like that I have played: http://www.ign.com/games/hard-corps-uprising/xbox-360-76570 In my opinion it's not as hard because you can level up the characters kind of like an RPG but I had some fun playing it and I finished it with one of the characters. I plan on beating it again with some of the other characters at some point. Spelunky is another great little gem that can be pretty hard.
