I recently encountered a wild atari 2800 (cindy, japanese model). can anyone on here confirm if it works with the harmony cart? http://gaming.wikia.com/wiki/Atari_2800 it was apparently released in the US later on, as the "Sears Video Arcade II". if anyone can shed any light, please let me know. I'm considering buying it but need more info. (I messaged the author of the cart a couple of weeks ago, no replies). also, if you have any info regarding how to get RGB out of this thing, please let me know. Andromeda Stardust Posted January 15, 2018 Share Posted January 15, 2018 Given how rare the Japanese 2800 is, I can't help but assume it would hold value more if you kept it stock. Get a cheap 2600 for av modding. Countless other people never had any issues with the "click" mechanism even after years of daily use. That said, if he broke it by yanking the SD card instead of pressing down, then it isn't a warranty issue, it's user negligence. Perhaps read the manual next time! Protip: Most broken stuff can be jury-rigged to make it work again. Masking tape over the card end will keep it from ejecting. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
