I've only got 15 7800 games so far but the onles I like most include

One on One

Super Huey

Xevious

Dk Jr

Galaga

seems like ONE best game is hard to decide upon! ought to do a poll...

Jumpman??? well if you're interested in jman you could visit a friend of mines site (I'm sure he'll think the few extra hits are cool ;) ) http://members.iinet.net.au/~cleathley/jumpman/ he is working on a jman construction set of sorts called Jumpman Under Construction.

Wow I never thought I'd see Super Huey on a fav list :o

The 7800 has a lot of good titles, in general the arcade ports are

good bets. I've got about 35 of the games and while most are good

there are only a few that I've found to be real perfection.

Joust is #1 on my list. I love the game on the 7800, nice graphics &

sound. Its very basic and quite addictive.

Ms Pac man is a fantastic port with great arcade faithful sound and

graphics. #2 and the only other game that is pefect IHMO.

Commando is a must have but I don't like the grahpics too much.

Galaga is super fun but its pretty easy compared to the arcade.

Both games are ports. Food Fight from the arcade, One on One from the Apple II. (goes and looks up some dates)

Here are the various release dates:

Food Fight (arcade): 1983

One on One (Apple): 1983

Food Fight (7800): 1987

One on One (7800): 1987

Woah. Umm... looks like this one is a tie!

Hmmm... so many good games... so hard to decide.

I'd vote for Food Fight, or even Dig Dug. Really, all the 1984 programmed arcade ports are winners.

And I kinda like the ice cream scoop Asteroids... I think a vector version would have looked crumby in 1984... although cool to have today.

Cheers!
