help with design

Recommended Posts

Im sorry if this is the wrong forum, I thought this was the best to choose from. So hear me out please. I'm 20, and I want to start to have my first game room/man cave. I have a lot of consoles though:

NES
SNES
N64
GameCube
Wii
PlayStation
PS2
PS3
PSP
PS Vita
Sega Genesis
32x
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
PC
Game Gear
Game Boy
Game Boy Color
Game Boy Advance
Game Boy Advance Sp
Nintendo DS
Nintendo 3DS
Atari 2600
Atari 5200
Atari Jaguar
Atari Lynx
Original Xbox
Xbox 360

As well as tons of movies and video players: Blueray, CED, Laserdisc, VHS, DVD.

I'm even getting a PS4 in march! My question is "can you give me some ideas on how to orientate my room?" How do you keep track of everything you own? It will be in a 8 by 10 room if that helps.

You can get some great ideas by checking out what other people have done. I tend to keep a 2600/7800, 5200, Intellivision, Colecovision, and NES hooked up in the game room. We have a WiiU hooked up in our family room and the other systems (Channel F, Odyssey2, PS, PS2, SNES, N64, etc) are stored for future use. Decide what you want to use/display and work on that first. I have too much currently jammed into my game room.

With all those consoles, you might want to look into Elfa shelves.
