With a lot RCA cables like those commonly meant to be used for composite and audio applications you may get interference and noise in the signal. Especially with the unshielded cheaper ones. For RF signals you want a nice thick shielded coaxial cable. DZ-Jay #4 Posted January 19, 2014 I use RCA cables (as opposed to COAX) and for me work really good. The ones are use are high quality, shielded, with gold-plated male connectors.
