I'd also be in for the upgrades but was hoping we could keep it to no more than $30 if possible as that already would bring grand total to $70 which is quite a bit. At $35 you are now at $75 which is really. A lot in my opinion. Of course I would go the extra $5 if I had to, but I would think that if everyone who got a cart also wanted to complete their set(s), then it might be doable. Of course I can't speak for everyone so maybe economies of scale won't work if everyone doesn't decide to upgrade but imagine the percentage of people wanting to would be high, and that extra box/overlay/manual sets could be sold off slowly but surely. Again, I'd support whatever, but $75 is a bit high if it can be avoided at all. Just my $.02 and not looking to annoy anyone as I would like a CIB and will support 4 copies.

I would also have to think hard about exceeding $30. My ideal homebrew is $50-60 CIB. $70 is already a stretch.

Lol! I'm a middling player at best on most games. I see Auto Racing is going on right now. I played that a couple of years ago for HSC and I think I did OK

I am trying to play more . For me it is motivating me to try new games or games I haven't played in awhile. I am averse player at best on most games . on a few I would give a run for money like baseball or biplanes

I played a bit more Old Skool today. The movement is decent. Other than the occasional "eraser passes right through the bad guys" glitch, it's pretty smooth.

 

I'm playing easy/slow, but I'm up to 861 on the 2nd Floor.

Thanks Joe, the ball is in your court. I honestly have had no issues with the controls on this game. I'm using an Inty 2 that I'm playtesting for J-F and it's getting a good workout.

It is not a 'glitch', it is a 'feature'.

 

The programmer knows why it happens, but chose to leave it in, because it would have caused the game to slow down.

 

The explanation, is that a nerdy guy can't always bean off a bully with an eraser. It is not a 'sure thing' to take out a bully, so makes the game a bit challenging. Also, the bullies don't always catch the nerdy guy, and he can slip by them sometimes.

cmart, definitely will give it a go - would love to get to 7th floor eventually. Haven't played in a while - been so busy - any tips for floor 3? Also William, can you tell us if any new guys are awarded at certain points levels - just curious? Thanks.

Thanks for quick reply - assume KR is the programmer will need to check next time I play. Hopefully I'll take out 2,000 points at some point and see if that number yields anything - will post if/when I get there. One thing I noticed which is no biggie is that when you have a bad game that is lower than 10th score on high score list, or anyone for that matter, game will replace the higher 10th place score with the new lower score - again no big deal and kind of nice for someone who isn't that good to be able to post a score at least. I did notice that one of my scores had the 1st initial of my name, then what appears like a running man, and finally a colored block - again no big deal - just something I noticed. Think the game is pretty addicting once you give it a chance and I like the whole concept of it and I only got to very beginning stage of floor 3 so looking forward to the rest!
