P.S. 1943: The Battle of Midway is one of my all-time favorite shooters! I also find it funnny that the biggest loss in Japanesse Naval history, and the biggest dog-fight ever is a game on a Japanesse Console. I thought it was an alright game. I've beaten it before so it IS possible. I don't remember learning any trick for getting extra lives, but it has been a long time. But you'r e on the right track - pick up an insane amount of shells, power up, and then go shark hunting. I remember it taking several hours for me to get strong enough to kill Jaws. There was also a Japan only enhanced arcade version named 1943 Kai, which didn't appear in the US until Capcom Classics Collection for PS2/Xbox. 1943 and 1943 Kai are on Capcom Generations v. 1 for PSX and Saturn. 1943 Kai is also on the PC Engine (Japanese Turbo Grafx 16). I will start to work on regaining this championship soon, don't know how long it will take but it will be done before 2008. It will be a matter of getting alot of luck to avoid the third encounter, no skill required there, but having a perfect game with that is skill. ILA2600 Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 I had played the NES game Jaws with my cousins back in the mid to late 80's, I used a Game Genie to cheat, but even that did'nt help, now hear is the funny part this year 2007 I had just finished Jaws, I could never figure out how to kill Jaws at the end with the boat, then I thought " Why don't I look on youetube" sure enough, some one had footage of the game ending, and showed how to kill jaws, and I beat it finaly!
