Tickled_Pink
This is the one with the Pokeball as an on/off switch. I'm pretty sure that it's the one my niece had. Just hoping that my dopey parents haven't binned it. I was just thinking about it a few minutes ago. Did a quick hunt and it's listed in an article on the Official Nintendo magazine's web site as one of the rare Nintendo pikachu consoles. But the 'R' word is just so often used these days. There is a sealed one going on eBay.co.uk for around £850 (probably about $1300 in US money). Others are on there for £100 or more. Not looking to sell, if they still have it. Just curious as I might start collecting for it.
108 Stars
I don't think it's rare at all.
Chuck D. Head
Scarce, I would say instead of rare. Every gaming expo I go to, I seem to see one for sale, usually $100-125.
Reaperman
I'd be tempted to go $50 for it. That's fully five times what I'd normally spend on an n64. I remember back in the day my toys r us was selling them new for that $50, so it almost seems a little rich. Of course I didn't buy one because why would I? I had one already. It's almost entirely because his cute little cheeks light up. I generally don't go for weird editions of consoles. Those transparent n64's?--you guessed it, they're worth $10 to me. karokoenig
On German ebay, you can easily get those things for 20 Euro if you have a bit of patience. I picked up mine for 17 Euro on a flea market, with a slightly beat up Pokemon controller included. CIB, even sealed... probably a lot more expensive, but the equivalent of 850 pounds is ridiculous bullshit.
high voltage
i bought mine for £15 when it was for sale at EB
108 Stars
As karokoenig said, they are super-common in Germany. I'm surprised they aren't everywhere, for a time there seemed to be more Pikachu N64 in stock in stores than regular ones.^^ Getting a boxed one may be different, but the loose system should be cheap. I see here one with box for 169 Euros. More expensive than I expected, but still not THAT pricey. The cheapest system loose without controller is 32,99. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.de%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_trksid%3Dp2043523.m570.l1313.TR4.TRC0.A0.Xpikachu%2Bn64%26_nkw%3Dpikachu%2Bn64%26_sacat%3D1249%26_from%3DR40 And that's just the current BIN offers. When I check finished auctions I see that a Pikachu N64 with two controllers and 5 games sold for under 40 Euros. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.de%2Fsch%2FPC-Videospiele-%2F1249%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3Dpikachu%2Bn64%26LH_Complete%3D1%26rt%3Dnc
RegularGuyGamer
Its worth the $125 it sells for CIB. Its an awesome system and comes w the sweet custom controller. Plus, just bc its old doesn't mean it's worth less.
AtariLeaf
I never understood the appeal of pokemon and never will. It would be like owning a Barney the Dinosaur N64. I'd love to smash both characters with jagged rocks.

karokoenig
I'd go for an Iron Maiden edition anytime. But I guess that'd have been Sega's turf, since Nintendo = cuteness mandatory. Imagine a Mega Drive with an Eddie on it - you stick the cart right between his fangs. and two red power LED's in his eyes... ...excuse me. I got to go make some papier-mache...
